Park & Sayer: A closer look at the skylounge & resident amenities

Park & Sayer, Elephant Park’s newest collection of premium property for sale in Elephant and Castle, offers a range of exclusive amenities for those who buy an apartment there. It’s a place designed with its residents in mind. Flexible spaces to work, live and relax are in abundance at Park & Sayer. Elevated gardens, a residents’ gym and communal lounges that function as meeting spaces or a workplace.

One of the amenities that has everyone talking about is the opulent Skylounge. We take a closer look at the exclusive space which, in our opinion, offers up some of the best views in London.

Your own private rooftop

The Skylounge sits on the 24th floor, taking you high beyond the treeline to give you unrivalled views of London. There are three terraces, each located at a different side of the building to offer a different perspective and horizon. Explore each of them independently to catch views of Canary Wharf in the distance, the City and The Shard, and the wider South London area. Smaller viewing galleries also bring residents the opportunity to enjoy the view in private; to have a moment to yourself and simply take it all in.

A top tip from us is to explore the space at different times of day. As the light changes, you’ll find the views change too. But from sunset until dusk – London remains alluring.

A flexible space

The Skylounge is a combination of flexible spaces, giving residents the choice between more casual and formal living. The clubroom and adjoining terrace are sumptuously furnished, featuring floor to ceiling windows so the view is never restricted. Here you can sit back and catch up with a friend, or enjoy an evening with your partner, while enjoying the availability that comes only with private spaces.

The dining room and kitchen can be booked for special events or more casual entertaining; we challenge you to find a more exceptional private dining space in London. This space also has an adjoining terrace, so whilst in use your guests can enjoy the views out towards Canary Wharf.

The remaining rooms in the Skylounge are softer spaces; places where you can work, relax, or meet up. With the lines between work and home now more blurred than ever before, the space is perfectly equipped for a day’s work. Coffee points keep you refreshed and discerning, whilst outdoor working space allows you to take your laptop al fresco when that sun starts to shine.

In short, the flexibility of the spaces on offer are an extension of your new home, and the jewel in our residential crown, here at the Elephant Park project.

Enviable interiors

Arney Fender Katsalidis were the architects who designed Park & Sayer, collaborating with Johnson Naylor Interior Architects for the building’s interior spaces. Both shared a vision; to create spaces that weave into the fabric of the surrounding community and reflect the rich natural beauty of the area.

The positioning of all elements, both within each apartment and each communal space, was fine-tuned to create the perfect flow from one area to the next. Floor to ceiling windows were intelligently placed throughout to create an abundance of natural light and, in the case of the Skylounge, to maximise the views.

From an aesthetic perspective, expect natural palettes, timeless design and opulent materials throughout.
