GETTING TO OUR POTATO WHARF, CASTLEFIELD APARTMENTS

Castlefield is in the south-west of Manchester, ideally placed for connections to the city and beyond. Deansgate Castlefield train and tram stations are a short walk, as is the central business district. And don’t forget the diverse restaurants, bars, and venues of Spinningfields and Deansgate Locks which are within walking distance of our Castlefield apartments – your new local neighbourhood.

Potato Wharf sits within the ancient setting of Castlefield, named for its Roman fort, and, while steeped in history, it’s also just a pleasant walk, skip, cycle or train ride away from some of the best local - and national - hotspots. A home isn’t just four walls, and with so much to explore, there’s no time like the present to get to know the area around our Castlefield apartments. Here’s how to get around.

Ok, so it’s not the speediest commuter option perhaps, but Potato Wharf is just minutes from the Bridgewater Canal from where you can enjoy cruises along the many rivers and canals which formed an integral part of Manchester's 19th century industrial boom. Hire boats for special events or join a tour along the river past Old Trafford, The Imperial War Museum and MediaCityUK. This is a fantastic option for showcasing the historic side of Potato Wharf within its surroundings while exploring all Manchester has to offer.
